Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare is in the process of prudent planning for four reasons;

  1. Requirement from the ministry for major decisions.

  2. Long range plans to accommodate community

  3. Good partners with possible partnership/development opportunities

  4. Buildings are getting old and require significant investment to update

For more information please visit www.mahc.ca/Planning-for-the-Future and/or attend the public meeting in Huntsville at the ALC on Tuesday August 26, 2014.

Developments in healthcare facilities take years to complete. The average time for new buildings/facilities is sixteen years from the start of the planning process to breaking ground.
