Dr David Mathies spoke to us about The Muskoka & area Health System Transformation this week

The group has been formed to investigate the integration of all Health Care in Muskoka. With the current budget in our area

of $225 million they are looking to save 5% which could be used to offset future deficits. They advocate a 2 hospital

system in Muskoka  and feel that this could be accomplished thru the cost savings that can be achieved.
