The club lost one of its most valuable members last Thursday, and a great Rotarian, when Ross Kirwin passed away. Survived by his wife Debbie (and dog Cooper), Ross had a special aura about him that drew people to him, and allowed him to lead many projects that the club has undertaken during his 17 years of service.

President Mary asked for memories of Ross Kirwin:
By letter from Tim Lutton: Tim and Dana visited Ross after his hospital stay, and he was still showing genuine concern for others, in spite of his own troubles.
Will put a post on Facebook after Ross’ death, and there were 9,000 views from both Huntsville and Toronto, and over 200 comments, which showed what a respected person he was
Paul said that Ross was one of a kind, and he had an uncanny ability to bring humor and levity to any project.
Rob related a story from years ago, on the set of the play, “Peter Pan”, to show Ross’ sense of humor.
Jennifer showed the video put together by Cogeco. This can be viewed at www.yourtv.tv/muskoka and then click on Remembering Ross Kirwin
Deb K (via email) Although I can't be there, my thoughts will be with you all. Ross was simply my favorite Rotarian. He was always poking fun but in such a Ross kind of way, I'm going to miss being called Kiddo. If something was going on, Ross was always a part of it, an integral part. His shoes will be very hard to fill. So sad.
