Our speakers for June 14th were Carrie Campbell and Joanne McLean from Enliven. This group provides self care services that support those touched by cancer. Their programs and workshops are intended to help in dealing with difficult symptoms of cancer, to help restore well being  and guiding decisions during care. they aim to normalize the conversation about cancer and provide programs in lifestyle, nourishment,and physical wellbeing including drumming yoga and art therapy. They can be contacted at the Ahimsa Yoga studio at 59  Main st E or at enlivenmuskoka.ca

 

On June 23rd at 6:30 they will be presenting Perspectives on the Cancer Journey at the Algonquin Theatre  with a short film and panel discussion. Tickets are available at the Algonquin Theatre Ahimsa or Soapstones.
