Our Website

We were able to take advantage of a District 7010 initiative to have a website refresh done by a web designer in Niagara.

Christmas Party

Today's Speaker

Today's speaker was Marcy Hill , the Director of the Door Youth Centre which is located on Brunel Road halfway between the High School and Downtown.

Marcy informed us of the many programs that are provided.

While it primarily serves as a drop-in location for High School students to enjoy a place of Community they also provide a lunch programme for up to 100 students with hamburgers supplied by the Local Restaurant.

The building itself is in need of some repairs to solve a basement water problem and she is looking for help in the Community to get some repairs underway. The Board will have a look at this in the near future.

Happy Bucks

Happy Bucks:

Mary Happy that her Probus meeting got cancelled due to excessive snow and she was able to make our meeting

Jen Happy to have both her kids going to HHART and by the way they are doing a Polar Plunge for HHART to raise money for the cause.

(Jen could not commit to the Plunge herself)

Charles Working at the Depot and getting a greater appreciation for what our Club does in the Community

Ron Broke his snowblower but managed to get it back together

The Rotary Club of Huntsville that Rob Saunders was an active bidder in our Auction and took home many articles whether he wanted them or not.

Bill Pritchard was happy to get outbid on many of the items that he placed an initial bid on.

Bob Gibb was happy to have his ticket drawn for Foundation Funding but was unsuccessful in claiming the ultimate prize
