During lunch, the gathering sang happy birthday to our exchange student, Laura, and shared in her chocolate birthday cake. 

Jen Simpson introduced Anika and Suzanne, who shared their recent experiences at RYLA. Anika is interested in the exchange program.  Her sister is currently in Brazil as our exchange student. 

Auction Update – Charles: Deadline for completing the canvasing is October 21, 2026. Donations will be received on October 21, 2026 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Rotary Train Station. 

Bingo – Peter Redwood: There will be a bingo stapling scheduled for October 21st at the Legion for 930 am prior to our next meeting. A  reminder will be sent out prior to the date. 

Guest Speakers: Rebecca Ellerson and Melissa Polischuk shared a video of our Hospice Huntsville facility, as well as a discussion of services provided to our community.  The club made a presentation to Hospice in the amount of $ 5,000.00
