Today's Speaker

Katrina Cotterchio and Lucille Frith from the Huntsville Historical Society spoke to us today about what is happening on the historical front.

The Huntsville and Area Historical Society is dedicated to recognizing, documenting, preserving, and sharing the heritage and culture of our area. We strive to further the continued education and awareness to foster awareness and appreciation of said heritage for current and future generations.

They are doing much work on getting Huntsville to recognize the importance of designating certain properties of historical significance.

They have developed an APP for an historic walking tour of Huntsville Heritage sites soon to be downloadable from the App Store
