90TH Anniversary   Chaired by Hugh Holland our 90th anniversary celebration will be held on May 11 2024. at the Legion  The theme will be Celebrate Rotary in Huntsville.

 

Dockfest   Jamie Thompson updated us on Dockfest 2024.  Saturday June 29th as part of the Canada Day festivities  to include a Parade at 9:30 Bathtub derby with new obstacle course design, Waterski show, Music at the Bandshell.

 

 

 

Trans Canada Trail in Huntsville

 

 

 

Adrian Musters made a presentation on our project to update the Trans Canada Trail signage in Huntsville. Over 300 Trail and directional signs were replaced with the newest version from the TransCanada Trail corporation.

The trail in Huntsville consists of snowmobile trails, roadways, highways ,the Hunters Bay Trail and highways.

It can be used by walkers bikers horseback riders snowmobiles and vehicles.

Our portion of the Trail is a small portion of the 16,000 km that go from Atlantic to Pacific to the Arctic Ocean.

The Trail update was the dream of Cameron White who unfortunately did not see the completion.

We encourage everyone to get out and use the Trail.
